Speakers
- David Ferris, Senior Analyst, Ferris Research. A technology analyst since 1991, David got into computer science research at Stanford University while working on a Ph.D. in philosophy. He wrote the first syndicated column in the computer industry and has since written hundreds of articles and bulletins and co-authored three books. Initially focusing on messaging technologies, David recently expanded his areas of knowledge to include compliance, archiving, content control, e-discovery, and data leak protection. He is frequently quoted in the technology and business press.
- Mary Kay Roberto, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mimecast. Mary Kay has been in the software industry for over 17 years, focusing primarily on archiving and electronic discovery. For five years, she was General Manager of KVS, building the North American presence for the U.K.-based company from U.S. inception through acquisition by Veritas/Symantec. After that, Mary Kay was Vice President of Sales at MetaLINCS, where she established and built the initial customer base.
- David Goldberg, Director of Sales Engineering, Mimecast. David brings 13 years of product development and business leadership to Mimecast. He is an experienced software architect of Web and business intelligence applications and has worked within sales teams, which gives him a unique perspective on using technology to solve real-world problems. Before joining Mimecast, he worked for messaging vendor Open-Xchange, helping grow its U.S. SaaS business. David is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he studied computer science and mathematics.
