Webcast held on April 29, 2009. One hour.
The severe global recession has made it difficult for emerging companies to raise money. The number of fundings is roughly half its normal rate, and valuations are similarly reduced.
In this webcast, we speak with Marc Olson of Nayatek and Tal Golan of Sendio, two messaging companies that recently completed a funding round. Topics include:
- The company’s products or services, strong points
- How the money was raised
- The main investor concerns
- Use of the funds
- Advice on fund-raising do’s and don’ts
The speakers also discuss their experiences and views with moderators David Ferris and Mike Stackpoole.
Webcast 817.
