Speakers
- David Ferris, Senior Analyst, Ferris Research. David has been professionally involved with messaging and collaboration technologies since 1991. He got into computer science research as a graduate student at Stanford University and was one of the first 100 email users. He also wrote the first syndicated column in the computer industry. Since then, David has written hundreds of articles and bulletins on messaging and collaboration, and co-authored three books. A leading messaging and collaboration expert, he is frequently quoted in the technology and business press.
- David Cassell, Product Manager, C2C Systems. David has been working in the global technology industry for more than 20 years, with a core focus on security and networking organizations. At C2C he provides strategic counsel on positioning of current and new products, implements product plans, and leverages relationships with key technology partners. Previously, David was a marketing consultant for a portfolio of software and hardware organizations, including Digital Equipment Corp., Cap Gemini, Racal, and Clearswift.
- Bryan J. Rollins, Vice President of Product Management, MessageOne. Bryan is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of MessageOne’s core technology platform and applications. He has 15 years of product design and development experience in advanced technology. Before joining MessageOne, Bryan founded and held executive and board of director roles at Reactivity, a Web services security company acquired by Cisco. Previously, he was the Director of Product Management for AlterPoint, a network configuration management company.
- Ron Robbins, Product Manager for Migration and Archiving, Quest Software. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Ron has provided Exchange migration assistance to Quest’s customers and strategic partners moving from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and 2007. He has over a decade of experience in help desk management, systems administration, and consulting and has co-authored with Microsoft an article on Exchange migration considerations.
- Michael Gaines, Director of EAS, ZANTAZ. Michael has 20 years of IT experience spanning engineering, product management, sales, and marketing. He is responsible for strategic planning and product management of the ZANTAZ Enterprise Archive Solution product line. Before joining ZANTAZ, Michael was on the senior management team for MicroLegend Telecom Systems Inc. and held sales and marketing positions at Fulcrum Technologies.
