  • David Ferris, Senior Analyst, Ferris Research. David has been professionally involved with messaging and collaboration technologies since 1991. He got into computer science research as a graduate student at Stanford University and was one of the first 100 email users. He also wrote the first syndicated column in the computer industry. Since then, David has written hundreds of articles and bulletins on messaging and collaboration, and co-authored three books. A leading messaging and collaboration expert, he is frequently quoted in the technology and business press.
  • Ron Ferris, Director of Professional Services, AXS-One. Ron helps AXS-One customers throughout North America to define and implement appropriate strategies for archiving and electronic records management that address their operational, regulatory, compliance, governance, and legal discovery needs. Before joining AXS-One, he spent 20 years in various supervisory and management positions in the refining and petrochemical industry. Ron is a registered member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
  • Roger Matus, CEO, InBoxer. Before founding InBoxer, Roger led the New Products and Technologies Group and the marketing organizations at Dragon Systems. Previous positions include Executive Vice President for WebReply.com, Chief Marketing Officer for Octave Communications, and Vice President of New Products and Technologies for iBasis. Roger blogs about political, social, and legal issues related to email at www.DeathByEmail.com.
  • Balaji Srinivasan, Senior Product Manager for Sherpa’s Exchange group. Balaji designs, builds, tests, and documents new products and enhances existing products for the Microsoft Exchange platform. He has extensive experience in product development, having worked for more than 8 years as a senior product developer in the consulting industry.
  • Nick Mehta, Vice President of Product Management, Symantec. Nick leads a team responsible for Symantec’s Enterprise Vault. He joined the company in July 2005 through the merger with VERITAS, where he also served as director of product management for the CommandCentral family of products. Previously, Nick was director of product management at XDegrees and co-founder and vice president of marketing at Chipshot.com. He has also held financial and technical positions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities, Goldman Sachs, and IBM.
